what can i say, school is a pain.

University of Toronto

I am an alumni of the computer engineering program at the University of Toronto.

While in school I obviously didn't just study. I participated in many organizations such as the Engineering Society (where, at different points, I co-edited and worked on The Cannon, and chaired the Engineering Communications Committee), Skule(tm) Nite, and the student chapter of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (where I served at various times as computer systems administrator and branch secretary).

Yep. U of T is now my alma mater.

Miscellaneous School-Related Stuff

  • Campus Map. I used to live on campus in the dorms, so this page links to an image with an imagemap, and if you move your mouse over the various pieces of the image, you can see buildings relevant to me.
  • For our fourth-year design project, my partners and I built a computer cluster using obsolete Sun IPC workstations. There are a number of documents available for your perusal:
  • Here's a presentation similar to the one above, that Edward Son and myself gave at OEC (Ontario Engineering Competition) 2001 in the category of Explanatory Communications.
  • VODKA, a design project for second year Digital Systems
  • A report on IEEE 1394 (FireWire (tm)) that Edward and I did for a fourth-year Data Communications course.
  • See pictures of some of the people in my dorm at Fireball '99.
