what the heck is this?

Kevin Fox is a cellist and guitar player residing in Toronto. He has played with so many Toronto-area musicians that it became a running joke on a few mailing lists, such as the headline-girl (Emm Gryner fan list), that Kevin was not unlike that other famous Kevin, Kevin Bacon.

This database was developed in that spirit, to link as many artists as possible to Kevin.

how do I contribute to the database?

Click here if you'd like to add records to the database. At the current time, the scripts do not support modification of existing records (e.g. if an artist moves up in their Bacon... er, Fox, number) but the database has an internal scoring system for artist relationships, so the functionality will be pretty easy to add when I get around to it.

who is the guy with too much time on his hands?

You can contact me at webmaster@aquezada.com. This software should be considered alpha-quality, and bug reports are welcomed. One known bug is that solo artists that go by only their first names, such as Jewel, aren't fully supported. To get around it, I've been entering some dummy values for their last name (in Jewel's case, I've put her last name, Kilcher).
